I've copied Wikka into a directory under htdocs on my laptop, which is running Apache 2.0.55, PHP 4.4.1 and MySQL 5.0.  I created the database as outlined in the installation instructions, but when I go to the wikka page on localhost the installation routine always produces an error stating that connection to the database failed.

Has anyone else seen this?  Any suggestions?
