Feature comparison table
The aim of the table below is to compare the most prominent features of WikkaWiki and DokuWiki (only the features of the engine released with the packages are listed - any extension/code contribution not included in the official packages is omitted). This list is far from exhaustive: the best way to understand what wiki engine fits your needs is to install it and give it a try.

I just spent several days installing and comparing DokuWiki and Wikka (I'm writing this on June 21, 2007). Unfortunately, neither package really meets my needs. Here are the highlights of how they compare.
In Wikka, Not in DokuWiki
Features in Wikka which are not in the base DokuWiki:Categories (DokuWiki has a Tags plugin which is somewhat equivalent)
Link to HomePage (I find it unbelievable that this is missing form DokuWiki)

Features in not in Wikka which are in the base DokuWiki:Non-admins can upload images and other attachments (this is primary reason why I can't use Wikka)
Tables can be entered as rows with separators (the Wikka table capabilities are too hard to use for any non-trivial table)
