I'm involved with the Wikka project because BrianKoontz invited me. Open Source Software interests me because of the openness of the community (well, most of the time). Because I use a lot of OSS, I sometimes like to do something in return. That's why I write OSS myself (ok, also because I like to write it :)) and sometimes contribute where I can in the form of bug reports, patches or in Wikka's case: translations. I've never done translations before, so it was an interesting experience. I'm not happy with all the translations, but I hope other Dutch people will contribute as well and correct those (and perhaps others).
