A new page layout?
With the new proposed
page layout skinning a Wikka install will be much easier. The
Wikka Skin showcase∞ is a proof-of-concept of the flexibility allowed by the new layout.

This is a development page to test the
MySkin plugin, an extension written by
DarTar and currently
not bundled with the
standard Wikka distribution.
The
MySkin action allows you to select alternate
skins∞ for
WikkaWiki.
If you are a
registered user, you can create and modify online your own custom skin.
Select a Wikka skin:
Creating your custom skin
To start playing with
WikkaSkins, you must first
register to this site.
As a registered user, you can create your custom skin by clicking on
Create my skin.
Your default custom skin corresponds to the Wikka default stylesheet. You can then modify it in several ways:
- you can directly edit the CSS source code (click on Edit source)
- you can import any of the available skins of the list and save it as your skin (just click on Save current skin as my skin).
To revert to the default stylesheet, click on
Restore to default settings: all the modifications you've done will be reset.
You can freely use any of the available skins (including those created by other users) just by selecting it from the list.
Default skins:
- black.css - "Negative" version of the default wikka stylesheet (Credits: Alex McMillan).
- minigray.css - A light, blog-like stylesheet.
- pink.css - Simple and intuitive sans-serif layout.
- smooth.css - More elaborate skin, with gradient menubars and a fixed watermark-background.
- void.css - A minimal skin, masking most wiki-oriented features of the page.
- wakka.css - The good old wakka stylesheet, for vintage lovers :).
- whitew.css - Elegant and light skin, with a white wikka logo and a blueish touch.
- wikka.css - The default wikka stylesheet.
