I use Wikka in various ways. It is my main personal information management tool on my laptop, where I run a local webserver with wikka.
Wikka also serves in different installs as collaborative spaces for different communities I am part of.
I like Wikka because it allows easy customization in its lay-out as well as adding functionality through actions. Those actions are vital in my own personal wiki to create the type of working environment I need.
In the past I have worked on combining Wikka with other pieces to build a platform (including blogs and wiki).
