Integrating Wikka with other software
On this page you will find information and links on how to integrate WikkaWiki with other software, in particular blog engines, bullettin boards, portals and CMS in general.
Available Wikka modules
The following software currently integrates WikkaWiki as a module:
- Wikka/XPMT
Extreme Project Management Tool: an opensource project of Tegonal GmbH to provide a web based project management tool using the principals of eXtreme Programming (XP).
- Wikka/PhpSlash
PhpSlash is a weblog system written in PHP. It was originally a port of Slash (the code that runs the popular slashdot web site).
Wikka module development
- Wikkamambo Wikka/Mambo
Announcement of a module to integrate WikkaWiki 1.1.6.0 in Mambo (German).
- Wikka/MT
a plugin for Movable Type (ver. 2.661) to be able to crosspost from MT to the Wiki. Actually this is only half of a plug-in, it currently adds links to the blogposting pointing to the equivalent wiki-page. For creating the actual wiki-page you would need the improved API of MT3
- WikkaWithphpBB Wikka/phpBB
A simple hack to allow users from a phpBB forum to integrate the Wikka user table with an existing database: allows users to login to Wikka with their existing username and password.
- Wikka/Postnuke
Announcement of a Wikka module for Postnuke.
- WikkaWithSMF Wikka/SMF
Announcement of planned bridge to Simple Machine Forum membership system.
- Wikka/WP
WikiAdd: a WordPress plugin developed by Ton Zylstra to crosspost blog entries to a WakkaWiki Wakka-compatible wiki (including WikkaWiki). For every blogpost that is added to category 'wiki' Wordpress creates a wiki-page with the blogpost-title as a wiki-word. This wiki-page has a link to the blogpost. I have been alerted to the fact that it does not seem to work for longer postings. Might be something to do with newer versions of both WP and Wikka
- Wikka/Xaraya
Announcement of a Wikka module for the Xaraya Application Framework.
- Wakka/XOOPS
A plugin developed to integrate an enhanced version of WakkaWiki (many feature additions over the last Wakka version) in XOOPS.
